Brian Banilivy is an investment sales professional specializing in retail properties nationwide, with a primary focus on shopping centers, retail strip centers, and single-tenant net lease properties.
A graduate of NYU with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Brian began his career on the principal side of commercial real estate, managing and disposing of retail and net lease assets across the country. He worked closely with land use attorneys and municipalities on complex property subdivisions and collaborated with private investors, 1031 exchange buyers, institutional groups, and REITs on acquisitions and dispositions.
He later spent more than two years as a commercial mortgage broker based in New York City, arranging financing for transactions across a wide range of asset classes nationwide. That experience strengthened his underwriting capabilities, giving him a comprehensive understanding of capital markets and enabling him to evaluate transactions from both investment and financing perspectives.
Today at Silber Investment Properties, Brian leverages his background in ownership, land use, dispositions, and debt financing to advise clients on retail investment sales throughout the country. His experience on both the principal side and in commercial debt financing gives him a unique perspective on every transaction, enabling him to speak the language of owners, investors, and lenders alike while connecting sellers with qualified buyers and helping investors make well-informed acquisition decisions. Passionate about commercial real estate and committed to delivering value at every stage of the process, Brian takes pride in building lasting relationships and guiding clients through successful transactions.
